This Privacy Policy explains what data Posynt ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and your rights. It applies to our website, dashboard and API.

1. Data we collect

• Account data — your email address and plan.
• Payment data — processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
• Configuration — the hashtags you track and the delivery endpoints you set (Discord webhook, Telegram token/chat ID).
• Usage data — counts such as alerts delivered, and basic logs for reliability and abuse prevention.

2. How we use it

• To provide the service — monitor your hashtags and deliver posts.
• To manage your subscription and send service emails (e.g. your API key).
• To secure the service and enforce our Terms.

3. Public post content

Posynt processes publicly available posts from X that match your hashtags, solely to detect and forward them to you. We do not build profiles of X users and retain matched posts only as long as needed to deliver them and provide recent history.

4. Third-party processors

• Stripe — payments and subscription management.
• MongoDB / hosting provider — storing account and configuration data.
• Email provider — sending transactional emails.
• Discord / Telegram — when you enable them as delivery channels.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.

5. Data retention

We keep account and configuration data while your account is active. If you cancel, we may retain minimal records as required for legal and accounting purposes, then delete or anonymize the rest.

6. Security

API keys authenticate every request and can be regenerated. Notification secrets and credentials are stored to operate delivery. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, but no system is perfectly secure.

7. Your rights

8. Cookies

The website uses minimal cookies/local storage — for example, to keep you signed in to the dashboard. We do not use advertising cookies.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, emailed to you.
